My name is Low Hang Wei and I set up this blog to share more about my journey in life. Like many people, I have dreams of becoming a millionaire and I do have goals that I reach out for. When I first started this blog, I thought that it would do me good to publish my goals and reach out for them, but I realized that it did not push me even a little. It seems like I work best when I just quietly reach out for my goals. If I do achieve significant milestones, I will be sharing them on this blog, but until then, all my goals will be kept to myself.

My Life Journey
My life journey had been extremely fruitful, going through all the different phases of my life and exploring different parts of life. My first major turning point took place when I was 16 and I was undergoing one of the major examinations at that point of time. I still remember how I was trying to make money from the Internet so badly during that period that I did not spend time on revisions. My results were not that good in the end and I only managed to make $5,000 or so during that period.
I proceeded on to the next level of education, a diploma in Multimedia Technology. It brought me skills that I can use today even if I do not choose an IT career. I used my knowledge to come up with content management systems and started building websites in the second year of my diploma.
None of my friends or family members knew what I was doing, but by my third year, I stopped receiving allowances from my parents. I was also spending $1,000+ per month having buffets lunches and dinners without any worry of money because I was making more than that by just spending hours per week managing my websites. To top it off, I graduated with a diploma with Merit, which places me in top 5% of graduates. I was enjoying life with all these successes, although nobody knew how much I was making at this time.
However, I was splurging my money and I did not think about building up a bigger nest for the future. Looking back, there are a lot of things that I should have done, but I did not. In the end, I entered National Service and sold away my main website for $16,000 USD, while leaving the others to die off. My National Service was quite enjoyable, except the first few months, but other than receiving great commendations through my Service, I achieved nothing else in life during that time. More than two years of my life is gone just like that.
Then I proceeded on to University in a different discipline, studying Business this time. I got into Dean’s list in the first year and I started to view University lightly. Initially, I really enjoyed my university life because I was learning a lot of new things, but the excitement did not last, as I found that the materials started becoming too easy. It was then that I stopped going to most of my classes and consequently did not do as well in the next two years.
Now, in this point of my life, I joined the corporate world, although the job market when I graduated is in a mess. It is at this point that I start a new journey in life. I have made a lot of mistakes by this phase of my life and learnt a lot about what I should have done. My life journey had been pretty interesting so far, going through a roller-coaster journey. It is at this point that my finances have almost dried up from supporting myself through all these years. I believe this is a new major turning point in my life and one that I would enjoy looking back to ten years from now.
With that, I continue to move forward in life and record down my thoughts in this blog.
