Agloco Might Help Us Make Money

Blogged By: Low Hang Wei @ February 4th, 2007 - 4:47 am

It’s already extremely late, but I just want to post this, in case I forget or do not have time to do it tomorrow. Some of you might have heard about Agloco, since it has recently created quite a storm on the Internet. From the title of this post, you can sort of guess that I’m going to make an endorsement for the first time in this blog. Before you just click away because you hate any form of endorsements, I sincerely ask that you just spare me a minute and read what I have to say. I’m not going to throw you with guarantees that you will become a millionaire, but just evaluating this program with my very honest opinion.

Firstly, you have to know that it’s totally free to join this program and you have a good chance to make some money off it. If I didn’t think it was a neat idea, I wouldn’t have spent my precious time and wasted your valuable time with this post. By paying nothing, we stand a chance to make extra money from Agloco. I know it’s hard to believe that we can get something for nothing, but give me a minute and I’ll explain why this is worth our time to explore. Before I start, I’ll just let you know that Agloco is basically a Get-Paid-To-Surf program, paying you just to surf the Internet, which we are already doing. We will be required to install a software that displays ads, but for a chance to make good money, I think it’s worth it.

You might decide to skip reading about everything and just sign up immediately since it’s totally free anyway. For your convenience, I have posted another link here as well:

Some history
Ten years ago, Get-Paid-To-Surf programs first came online. I believed Alladvantage was the first program to come online, although it just died off after a few years. In the time that it existed though, there were many members who made thousands of dollars per month and got paid by them. There were many reasons why it could have died off, such as Dotcom bust and not enough advertisers on the Internet.

Why do I believe in Agloco?
The Internet has changed, advertisers are increasingly turning to online channels to spend their advertising dollars. Since Agloco’s revenue model is through advertising, it’s definitely a good sign. The best thing is that Agloco will be owned by members, meaning that we earn the lion’s share of advertising revenue generated by Agloco. Also, technology has evolved a lot nowadays, meaning that advertisements are very relevant to what we like. It’s good for both advertisers and potentially more income for us. Look at how Google and Yahoo base their incomes on advertising and they are already billion dollar corporations.

I know you probably don’t like extra advertising on your Internet Explorer, but if we can live with advertisements on MSN, AOL or ICQ, why not Internet Explorer? We don’t even get paid when using instant messengers, but now… here is an opportunity for us to make money with Agloco just for doing something we always do. Although the viewbar (the program we have to install) is still not out yet and we don’t know how it will be like, now’s the perfect time to start referring your friends into this program, since you get paid a part of their revenue to refer people to sign up with Agloco.

Not many people like to work before getting paid, but it will be much easier to promote this program now than when the viewbar is released. When people start making money, the program will simply spread like wildfire and if you don’t have any people who signed up under you, it will be very difficult to find people who are not already registered. There are still many benefits about this program, but I don’t want to write an extremely long blog post, so I’ll end it by saying: Is it worth it to have a chance at making possibly tens of thousands by taking one minute to sign up and a few more minutes to refer the program to your friends? You lose nothing except a few minutes of your time if it doesn’t work when the toolbar rolls out, but what if it’s successful? Every friend you referred and any friends your friends referred and so on will make you money.

I don’t want to wait for people to start making money before I decide to hop in… it will be too late by then. I have taken my step to sign up and I hope you do. The earlier you sign up, the more people you can likely refer to be under you, so let’s be the early movers together.

P.S: By the way, Agloco had captured the attention of several CEOs and even Bill Gates as well. If you have any questions or thoughts regarding Agloco (whether good or bad), feel free to leave your comments.

    how much can be made?

I will be very honest here, I don’t know. The viewbar is not yet released as of yet, so we don’t know how the revenues would be like. Also, I don’t know how many people you can refer and so on. However, for many of us, we know more people than we imagine and it’s really possible to get people to join under us, all we need to do is ask. Afterall, we don’t expect anyone to spend a single cent and if it doesn’t work, we just waste a few minutes of our time.

I saw on a blog that a person refers just around 100 direct friends and those friends went on to refer another 15,000 under him. His estimated earnings is $400,000 so far and this program is still only in beta phase. Probably we won’t be able to refer 100 friends, but is 10 friends possible? With that estimation in beta phase only, imagine what the real launch is going to bring if it really does work. Just think about it and sign up when you are ready to tell your friends about it. :)

I have something to add, many of us spend time queuing up to buy lottery, spending our time and money for that small chance of success. Do you think this program has a higher chance of success than lottery? Of course, the chances are far higher and it doesn’t even cost us a single cent. Don’t just listen to what I say. Over here at this blog, you are encouraged to speak up, even if you share a different view. I simply love to see more perspectives. :)

I hope it doesn’t go bust like AllAdvantage.

They have a stronger revenue model this time round, providing a viewbar that searches Google and getting paid for that. I would say that their viewbar is a useful tool, since a lot of people cannot live without Google and I’m one of them. Unlike other GPTS that only display ads, the viewbar helps to save time, since going through the viewbar means we need not have to enter google’s url first to do a search.

However, nothing is absolute. Like other companies, they also stand a chance to fail, but I think they have a better chance to survive than others. The only risk is our time, but I’m sure most of us have quite a lot of free time. :)

[…] In February, I blogged about Agloco, a revenue sharing ‘get paid to surf’ network. I was pretty interested in their idea at that time and published this post “Agloco Might Help Us Make Money“. […]
