An Exciting Twist To My Life

This is the first time I have ever been so excited over something. Sure enough, I was excited when I first started Internet Marketing, but the excitement is nowhere near this current level. At this point, I believe you are interested to know what I’m so excited over, but I’ll keep you in suspense for a short moment.  To start things off, It might be interesting to know that since the day I started National Service, my life has gone on a gradual downturn monetarily, which is not surprising. While I did grow intellectually, spiritually and emotionally through self-improving, I knew I was lacking something important… Money.

I understand that Money does not make people happy, but on the other hand, having more Money will give us the power and freedom to make more choices to keep ourselves happy. Therefore, I decided to translate my knowledge through seminars, ebooks and audios into practicality. With that resolution, I started this blog and begun my journey. I would say that this blog gave me the renewed motivation to start working towards a goal. Therefore, I worked on Internet Marketing during my one-month holidays, but the results are not really significant. Even at this point, I still believe that I can achieve my million dollar goal, but I believed I was in too much of a comfort zone.

For those who have been reading this blog, you might have stumbled across posts of me investing almost all my money into Mutual Funds, leaving little money left for my expenses. This action was simply to get me out of my comfort zone, since if I don’t start making money, I’ll starve. Previously, I was just counting my expenses and thinking I can carry on living with this level of expenses and no income until I graduate. Looking back, I think it was a nice idea to buy into, since I should take a more proactive approach to life.

Miraculously, after I make the investments, I was recommended by my friend to join a company and develop a website. I believe that everything in this world happens for a reason like tornados are formed because some butterfly flapped his wings in some other part of the world. Likewise, my change in mindset and being forced out of my comfort zone could have, on a subconscious level, led to this job opportunity. I know it sounds crazy, but there are people who practice spiritual marketing, which can’t be explained by science either. When in doubt, you choose what to believe and I chose to believe that I’m in control of my life.

With that said, I’m still thankful to my friend, Suqin, for her recommendation. If you read this blog, this is for you (Thank you). Now, I’ll tell you why I’m so excited over this opportunity…. There’s great potential! While I will be involved with developing the website initially, I have a good chance to get in touch with Marketing and Operations after the site is up. I believe that mixing with the right capable people will give me the experience I need to be successful, therefore I agreed right away after the first meeting yesterday. I’m now so excited that I will be signing the contract on Monday and will be sleeping with a wide smile.
