Death Note on This Blog

Blogged By: Low Hang Wei @ February 9th, 2007 - 3:10 am

If you’re reading this and thinking that there is a free death note movie download from this blog, you’ll be disappointed, because I’m just a puny blogger and do not want to get into trouble with the law. However, I just felt that my blog is becoming a Death Note game gradually. For the benefit of those who didn’t watch Death Note and don’t know what the movie is about, it’s basically about the main character, Light, trying to outwit an investigator, L. All he needs to know is L’s real name in order to kill him, but he didn’t manage to get hold of it, at least not in Death Note 1.

Everything below this point is just random nonsense and I don’t really mean what I say. I’m just having fun relating my blog to a movie.

Now… why did I say that this blog is becoming a Death Note game? If you have been browsing my blog, you will notice a mysterious ‘A’ leaving comments on almost all my posts and I’m obviously happy that I have a loyal reader. :) However, I’m beginning to suspect that I have been dragged into a Death Note game. In this Death Note game, no one will get killed, but if I do not find out A’s identity, I will suffer under the constant curse of curiosity. Every time I log into my blog’s administration page, the first thought that flashes past my mind will be “Who’s A?” “Who’s A?” “Who’s A?”… Curiosity begets Insanity and if I stop blogging perpetually some day, you know why.

Just yesterday, I thought I found out who A is, but I received the shattering truth that my guess was wrong. Well… should I be happy that I have more readers than I expected or should I feel sad that A’s mystery identity is still unsolved? I think I’m having both the emotions, which means I might probably develop split personality disorder in the not-so-distant future. I know the stakes now… either I’ll become insane first or I’ll figure out who A is. On the other hand, A has no risk of losing anything. From this, we can tell that A is a really witty person and probably a good gambler too. I have been lured into a game where I’m on the losing end no matter what.

Oops, there’s a turning point as of the moment that I’m writing this post. A has declared that he don’t me, so I most probably won’t know him also. That puts an end to my game, since I don’t think there is any way I can find out the identity of someone I do not know. So, before I can post out this ‘Hang Wei vs A’ challenge, the challenge is going to conclude with a concede defeat from me. :)

Wow, it’s already so late into the night and I got to wake up early tomorrow! I better go bathe right now and head off to my luxurious bed. :)

P.S: I think some day we might just become good friends. :)

Please don’t make it sound like this! If it helps, I will not make comments anymore so this identity will slowly diminish. H/e, I don’t think thats a meaningful choice as both of us lose out. You some comments that u may wish for to signify readership and me, an avenue to give some response sincerely. This is not a death note game- what u r having is a blog, im a mere reader. a reader comments at a certain time to affirm or criticise ur blog. thats what im doing- nothing close to a gamble. :) but maybe thats what humans are built for. u logging in to check my identity and me logging in to see the response i get for my comment. :)

Haha, I already put disclaimer on top say it’s just crap already. :) I won’t really be bothered over something like not knowing who’s on the other side responding to me. This post is just for fun and I hope you are not offended in any way. I can always remove this post if you want. :)
