Exam Results Release

I got back my exam results today and I would say it’s quite unexpected. Like many others who share the same university as me, we were filled with anticipation, wondering what grades we will be getting. For my case, it was a little extreme… I came from polytechnic and my polytechnic releases results at midnight, so there I was trying to get my results at midnight and my brother was just beside, calling me an idiot. Finally, after trying to check for a few times, I was convinced that my brother was right that this university does not release results at midnight.

After playing some games on PS2 and going for supper, I went to sleep. Morning came quickly and I suddenly heard my brother shouting that the results were released. I jumped off my bed immediately and logged in to check my results. The outcome was super disappointing… a popup came out showing something like ‘Your results are not available yet.’ My brother went on to joke that I clicked too much yesterday, that’s why they are releasing my results later. With no results to look at, I went back to sleep. When I woke up the second time, I checked it once again and this time, it was out.

I was most happy with my Business Law and Financial Management, since I didn’t have much confidence after I took the paper. However, I was a little disappointed with my IT and Accounting. My IT and Accounting coursework grading was practically perfect, yet Accounting became the only subject that didn’t gave me a perfect GPA. I was also disappointed with my IT grading because I was very confident of getting the highest possible grade, A+, yet I didn’t. With that said, I’m still content with how I did, but hope I will be able to do even better in future.

This truly marks the end of my first semester in University.
