Finished a bit of background work
Blogged By: Low Hang Wei @ December 3rd, 2006 - 6:27 pmI was supposed to be relaxing today, but when I woke up today, I hated myself. I think that I have degenerated to a level I could never have imagined in the past, unmotivated and constantly finding excuses for not carrying out the proper actions. Even during my exams period, I’m still playing games and not studying like I should. Through this semester, I seldom do my tutorials and skipped a lot of lectures. The only time when I put in more effort is when doing project work. Looking back at my recent actions, I don’t know if I regretted, but I know I can’t live like this for the next 3 years… because I’m a father and husband.
I know it’s pointless to discuss the past, but I would just like to blog about everything in my life, whether it reflects well or badly on me. This blog should be an honest compilation of my life… if I succeed in future, people will know that successful people also have their moments of screw-ups. If I’m a failure in future, I hope that successful people will see this blog and give me the required feedback for me to succeed. It’s pointless that I just blog about all my successful moments and hide all my failures, just to paint a very good picture to everyone else. If I did that, I’ll despise myself as someone who don’t even dare to be honest about his feelings.
At least I know that something’s wrong with me and I want to change, just like how I changed my napping habit. These few days I’m also sleeping more than usual, but it’s perhaps due to the high alcohol intake recently. At least I don’t nap now. Anyway… now that I’ve tackled the problem of napping, the next is to ensure that I follow my exercise regime closely. After dealing with all these issues, I’ll be able to have much higher energy levels for me to focus on whatever I want to achieve.
Anyway, the site I’m working on now mainly gives a free ebook and a 7 day eCourse on gambling systems. Note that I don’t endorse gambling in any way and neither do I gamble, except maybe during world cup or just our Singapore Toto, which is just another fancy name for lottery. At first, I was quite reluctant to write a gambling related ebook, but I figured that gamblers are going to be gambling and they will lose more money if left uncontrolled. When gamblers follow a proven system, they have a chance to make money and even if they lose, these systems typically advise betting small amounts, so the gamblers won’t gamble insanely. If all gamblers follow systems, we won’t see family tragedies where gamblers lose all their money and land themselves in debts that they can never repay in their entire lifetime.
With the gradual opening-up of society, gambling is really too common and so unstoppable that even my country is allowing casinos to be built. Therefore, I hope that if people have to gamble, they will gamble wisely. If they win, good for them… if they lose, don’t lose till they drop their pants. In my 7-day ecourse, I will bring the readers through the different forms of gambling systems and explain how they work. I’m still looking for resources for the readers to follow after I tell them the basics, because I can never become an expert in Gambling. I can’t teach what I don’t do, but for the purpose of writing the ecourse and ebook, I read up on tons of resources (even paid resources), so I do have quite a bit of knowledge on the different forms of gambling.
With that said… it brings up a point on Internet Marketing. If you think you have nothing to offer to your visitors, therefore you can’t build a website or write a course… think again. We can always learn, just like I did and managed to come up with something. Whether you have knowledge for your visitors depends on your dedication to pursue it. I’ll continue to work on it and finish things up as soon as possible. Although I had initially planned to launch it during the next holidays, I have decided to launch it earlier. We’ll see how well the ebook is received when it’s launched then. It might not cause a storm, but at least I put something up and the next time… I’ll have something even better.
