First Video: Giving a Presentation on Beer

This is the first video I posted on my blog and it took me like 10 minutes to upload the video to youtube first. Haha, I can’t possibly post a 15 megabytes video on my own webhost, the bandwidth charges will kill me. :) Anyway, this presentation is recorded in class as part of the coursework for my Communications Management Fundamentals module. For the first time, I’m being recorded on video and enjoyed 4 minutes of fame.

The presentation’s topic is ‘The Amazing Wonders of Beer’ and being someone who knows nothing about Beer, don’t expect me to deliver a stunning presentation. I spent less than 2 hours to search for information, write an email about it and to come up with the slides, so I deserve some praises… at least before you watch the presentation. If you have some free time and would like to see me stuttering throughout my presentation, go ahead and watch it. :)

    Ha…just saw some of your history post, haha..saw the post u thankx me lah. But seriously you are much more passionate than me in the job sia. I am excited and interested at what is being offered and the potential but then I am just not hard working enough i guess…haha…the exchage just make me wanna play play play for this semester especially i have been working working working like mad the last semester.

    3hrs of sleep? gam ba te! I gotta work during CNY i guess…hahaa

    I’m just very excited to be part of a project bringing it from nothing to its full potential. It builds on my knowledge as a programmer to come up with the site, but exploring crazy marketing ideas is the key thing that turns me on. I think we have a chance to overtake the competitors although they have a very large user base now. If it’s a success, imagine how it would look on my resume? :)

    ohya….i just had a presentation recently…seeing urs…i feel like seeing mine…but no one record for me~~ how come urs is recorded?

    It’s only for this module that it’s being recorded by our tutors and I think it’s really cool. This is the first time I have ever appeared on camera as the star! :)

    Our tutor brought a video camera to film each and everyone of us presenting. I would say that the quality is quite good and the sound captured is also quite good, since it didn’t take in much noise. She also had a tripod stand with her, so there wasn’t any shaking, except for slight panning. It’s worth taking more of such modules, it’s just pure fun. :)
