Mark Joyner And Me!

Hey guys, if you don’t like any of my posts, you got to at least check this out! Check out how wide my smile is while taking a photo with the Internet Marketer I respect most currently. I only respected two Internet Marketers to such degree of excitement, but the other one is, for the lack of a better word, gone. As some of you might know, today is my second day at World Internet Mega Summit, a 4 days seminar on Internet Marketing held in Sunny Singapore. However, you most probably did not know that 90% of the reason I attend this seminar is because of Mark Joyner, to catch him face-to-face. Boy, was I glad I did.

Anyway, it was not easy for most attendees to take a photograph with Mark Joyner… I repeat… not easy. In the first day of the seminar, there were 4 breaks in between and in between each break, I looked around EVERYWHERE, but could not catch a trace of Mark Joyner. Either I was really unlucky and Mark Joyner happened to be moving around like I am or he just wasn’t around that area. At the end of the seminar, I looked around again and this time, I summoned my courage and approached the Emcee to ask if he knows where Mark Joyner is. He directed me to a crew, which then said that Mark Joyner is in a meeting and asked me to be back tomorrow. I would have been glad to wait for Mark Joyner just to take a photo if I knew where he was going to exit from. (I know I’m like young kids chasing their favorite idol, but Mark Joyner really deserves that much respect) Anyway, it turns out that Mark Joyner is always in the VIP lounge, which poor folks like me did not have access to. Well, all the VIPS are obviously highly intelligent in grabbing hold of Mark Joyner and not letting him run till they grill everything out of him.

Second day came and I am still emotionally charged about getting a photo with Mark Joyner. I didn’t see him at all during lunch time, BUT… during the tea-time break, I caught a glimpse of Mark Joyner standing near the entrance to the VIP area. He was just 3 meters away, yet so far away. I did something I never expected myself to do at this point… I approached the two crew on duty and told them that I want to step into the VIP area to take a photo with Mark Joyner. Well… obviously they said no. I asked again and sounded real pathetic this time and said with tears almost rolling out of my eyes ”He’s just so near… please…”

Guess what?

I was rejected again and I knew that it’s not that those two crew are unfeeling but it was part of their job to stop non-VIPs from going into that area. Therefore, I did the next stupid act… waiting outside the VIP room for a VIP to come out. Then I asked him if it was possible to help me ask Mark Joyner if it was possible to take a photo with me.

Guess what now?

He brought me a few steps into the VIP room, which is all I needed and we waited patiently for Mark Joyner to finish his current conversation and snapped that magical photo. I sincerely thank Alvin Phang for his help in not only getting Mark Joyner to take a photo with me, but also in snapping a shot himself. I also thank Mark Joyner for helping fulfill my dream of being side-by-side and taking a photo with him. I can tell you that it was an absolutely ecstatic experience for me and I had the widest smile I ever got in a photo. The only regretful thing is that I only took the photo with my handphone and the quality is bad in the lighting setup. Nevertheless, I’m not looking for an art piece, so I’m absolutely satisfied with this photo and the fact that I was so close to Mark Joyner for a few seconds.

Guess what now?

I’m extremely emotionally charged after having been beside Mark Joyner. If I was as dedicated to becoming an Internet Marketing Millionaire as I was to taking this photo, I will definitely succeed. Notice how I went through numerous obstacles and gotten out of several of my comfort zones just to take this photo? I might be the only non-VIP to have taken a photo with Mark Joyner in this event, at least for these two days. Now that I have this photo, I’m definitely striving to become an Internet Marketing Millionaire, armed with Mark Joyner’s Simpleology. Here’s my plan, faster finish up the current project for my Boss and leave the company. He can then hire a full-time staff and I can continue my journey to become a millionaire. It’s an absolute win-win situation. Millionairehood… here I come.
