New Year Resolution 2007

To start off the new year, Wordpress released version 2.0.6 and it was mentioned that there are security fixes in this version too. It is so easy to upgrade your Wordpress to a newer version that everyone running their blog using Wordpress should perform the simple upgrade. All I did this time was to download the files and upload it to the web host. Can it be simpler than that?

For now, let’s look at my New Year Resolutions for 2007. I will write all my New Year Resolutions in present tense, not using words like ‘will’, because I’m writing them and picturing myself fulfilling all the resolutions. I believe it makes my New Year Resolutions more convincing.

I am a good student
I attend all lessons, do all my tutorials and studies hard.

I keep myself fit
I lift weights at least once a week to keep myself physically fit.

I build up my knowledge
I read a variety of books and listen to audio seminars regularly.

I excel
I overdeliver in any tasks I undertake. I am good in everything.

I am kind and helpful
I relentlessly offer my helping hands when my schedule permits.

Alright… that’s all for the year. Last year, I set 5 resolutions and I will set the same number of resolutions for 2007. I didn’t manage to keep my resolutions last year after 3 months, because one of the resolutions included not playing games during weekdays. This year, my resolutions are pretty much easy to follow through, since they are pretty much already me. Of course, the exception is the first resolution of attending all lessons, doing all my tutorials and studying hard. However, something within me just know that I will follow through this year.
