Sunshine Empire - Too Good To Be True?

While most of their merchants do acknowledge that these returns are not guaranteed, it does not change the fact that many people who buy into the program are expecting those returns. Many people are unaware of the potential risks of putting their money in a program like Sunshine Empire.
Firstly, the benefit illustration that their merchants are using in their presentations exceed a 100% annualized return, which is around three to five times the performance of top investors like Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch. That alone is enough ground for people to shout ‘too good to be true’. Additionally, their customer rebate program sounds just like a Ponzi scheme, since it basically takes only 10% of membership fees to rebate current members. In short, people who joined later are paying people who joined earlier. In order for a ponzi scheme to sustain, the amount of members need to grow at an exponential speed month after month. That alone is enough reason to drive rational investors away.
However, I recently decided to get a slot in Sunshine Empire and paid for the membership fees and GP fees of $11,800 just today.
Do I think that it’s a wise investment to make?
Not a chance, Sunshine Empire is not even recognised by MAS as an investment vehicle in the first place.
Would I refer anyone to put their money in Sunshine Empire?
Fat hope, why would I refer anybody to something that I do not think is a wise investment.
Why did I put my money in Sunshine Empire then?
- The desire to grow my money made me blind.
- While their customer rebate program sounds like a Ponzi scheme, their customer loyalty program does make a bit of sense. If you don’t know what these are, don’t bother to find out, since I do not recommend anyone to put their money in.
- This amount of money is what I made in investments for the year and I can afford to lose them.
Basically, the last point is the most important point. Never put your money in these type of schemes if you cannot afford to lose them. I sincerely feel that this whole thing is very risky, but I’m willing to take the risks. I don’t know about you, but my advice to anyone would be… stay away unless you are prepared to part with your money forever.

Hi,
Can anyone tell me what is the most recent updates on sunshine empire. And in the unfortunate case that SE is a scam, why isnt the singapore government doing anything at all?
Next, how can Sunshine Empire freely use the name of CAD and escape the grasp of law? Isnt it kind of weird that when some kind of government interference or name is involved like NKF, the media and the government will tackle the issue. However, it seems that Singapore Government may not be aware of SE at all? Or are they?
I am really confused… What is happening in Singapore nowadays?

According to Felicia (SE Management):
1) 23% of SE merchants already pull out from their investment .
2) There will be no fund at all for SE Malaysia .Pay out on 10th March will be still EP21 for GP or even lesser.
3) For sure ,there will be no income from Emcom project this year .
4) There will be no sales at all for SE Malaysia . Where got income ?
5) Many leader already left SE Malaysia .
Stupid Dylan just know how to cry on stage .He likes a joker to me. Acting ,using tears to cheat people . Now he disappear already .

And what’s with the Taichung project? Now it’s been proven as fake. No follow up? Don’t give the excuse of “private project”. Being an infrastructure and telecom related project, government approval is needed, be it private or public project.

As i have uderstand from SE Malaysia inside people ,Felicia .
1) Emwealth website dead . Merchant can not use their Mall Point .Using MP to change laptop is all bull shit .
2) Emcom project even worse .No update at all .No one in SE office dare to mention about Emcom project .
3) So call PPC is only a way to use to drag payment . SE very smart .
4) James Pang still hiding like a rat .
Sunshine Empire’s management don’t dare to make clearify.

Also before the properties start selling, where does SE gets its income from?
And why is SE’s payout so high, even higher than all the banks?
Lastly pls enlighten me why the SE / EPV projects are so popular even though it’s selling only to SE merchants?

Dear Our Valued Merchants, I am sure that you would all have read the Articles in English Straits Times. No doubt also that many of you will also have heard many fearful things being said about our Company. Let me encourage you all by focusing your mind on these points:
1. It is a positive thing that the ST has presented a write up on Mr James Phang and the EGA conglomerate as a GREAT “FATHER” SCAMMER.
2. It is a positive thing that it is clear from the page 26 article that EGA does not own or have any part in Sunshine Vampire (this means that the Group activities and companies are not affected by the Sunshine Vampire sucking people’s money).
3. On the other hand, it is also a positive thing that by reference, Sunshine Vampire is seen to be associated with a larger and substantial conglomerate, with an experienced loser in Mr. James Phang Cheat.
4. It is a positive thing that the public awareness is drawn to Sunshine Vampire by the ST. Now everyone will want to know what is this Company? – This is the best time to sell to them that Sunshine Vampire is an irresponsible company and that the business model suck!
5. It is a positive thing that the ST did not call Sunshine Vampire a scam, or say it is illegal – it merely said that the public should “take care” and that the “business model looks like a pure financial investment scam”.
6. Over all, the ST article presents an opportunity and a platform for both EGA and Sunshine Vampire to reap the public money and fool them about the activities of the group and Sunshine Vampire.

Last year, Jackie still can make official press release that the investigation will prove SE to be above board. That was the last heard from him.
The fact that he nor any top management dare come out to the public to clarify and reassure investors goes to show that the situation is really bad. It’s been 3 months and the payment has came to a halt and yet no official annoucment to control the crisis.
Even so call “top management” from Malaysia dare not made any comments but ask people to call him. And all he can do is just say “next month will be okay”.
Their words dont have anymore more creditability anymore. Reputation of SE is flush down the toilet.
Now can only hope that there will still be some loose change left to be disburse back to the investors. Will be lucky if you can even get like 10% of your money back because the legal cost eventually will be borne by SE and they will be strap penniless.
To all those that had been touting this investment to every father mother son, you ought to be utterly ashame of yourself for dragging so many innocent people into this and causing financial ruins and misery to those that have trusted you.
How can you ever face them? How do you sleep well at night, unless you are a cold blooded person?

Clarify your points, the withdrawal was stop since 3 months ago.
This month not even single cents in our account, last month still got between US$70- $200 after the CAD stepped in.
The SE has not responded anything up to date. It has been given us too many abrupt “surprise” without alerting us at all.

Just like that, SE is gone. All the merchants and leaders are told to lie low. Avoid the authorities and pretend nothing has happened.
What is happening in SE now? Every merchant who has made withdrawals in January HAVE BEEN REJECTED. Reason given is that Bank accounts have been frozen because of CAD investigation.
THIS IS A LIE. CAD has not frozen SE accounts for investigation. The only so-called proof that the SE people have is a so-called letter that they can only produce over the counter, which is a FAKE. The SE leaders are now planning to run and take the money overseas.
How are they going to do this? Simple. By Delaying all the withdrawals as long as possible, they have implemented a so-called cash card scheme which drags out the application process to 60 WORKING DAYS! thats 12 weeks or 3 MONTHS!!! So all SE merchants have to WAIT 3 MONTHS to cash out any of their worthless epoints.
EITHER that, or sell the worthless epoints to new members and take their cash in exchange for the epoints.
So what does this mean? IT MEANS JAMES PHANG AND JACKIE HOO HAVE 3 months to drag out their promises and escape.
They must be stopped. CAD and the govt and people of Singapore, lets do our part, stop them!

Sunshine Empire is closing during the CNY break. What many people do not know is that this is just a cover up. The leaders of this scheme are currently trying ways and means to shift their funds overseas and after the CNY break it is safe to say that SE will NOT be back. All the people in Singapore will NOT be able to cash out their money or epoints anymore after CNY.
In fact even now many people in SE are already experiencing this.

So far the most balanced article about sunshine empire I come across.
Sometimes when we invest: when we earn, we credit it to our wiseness. When we lose, we start to find people to blame. This is immature.
And also, do update us about your experiment with sunshine empire. That can be valuable information for curious people like us, who doesn’t have the capital.
I hope your integrity will eventually lead you to your goal.

All who invested in this company and its schemes beware! I overheard from some of the so-called leaders whispering among themselves that Singapore SE going to close and abandon all the people who invested in singapore soon because the funds are drying up due to the ongoing CAD investigation!
They are spreading among themselves that just close Singapore office and shift to indonesia, malaysia, or china or hong kong and continue the scheme there. Then blame it on economic recession and Singapore government. A lot of the leaders now in hong kong and macau, spending money like mad on entertainment like casino and KTV and call girls!
All the fools who put money in Sunshine Empire, do you know what you really invest in? You invested into their leaders decadent lifestyles opening bottles in KTV, frittering away your money in casino and buying luxury cars!
Please please, all the people who read this post, please call CAD and report them, especially if you have money with them, because they are running soon and not coming back! please get your money out before it is too late! Please inform all the people around you especially if you have friends and relatives who put money with them.

well, I am just a reader on this post and don’t like the way SE funtions. However, I can provide some information.

Their monetary payout for GP has dropped from 900++ USD to 400++ USD 2 months ago and finally to 200++ USD 1 month ago. Hope it helps~ I wish CAD will come out with their report soon to clear up all the mist~

only difference is that stock market is confirm paper loss if you are into blue chips, SE not so sure
