Sunshine Empire - Too Good To Be True?

While most of their merchants do acknowledge that these returns are not guaranteed, it does not change the fact that many people who buy into the program are expecting those returns. Many people are unaware of the potential risks of putting their money in a program like Sunshine Empire.
Firstly, the benefit illustration that their merchants are using in their presentations exceed a 100% annualized return, which is around three to five times the performance of top investors like Warren Buffett and Peter Lynch. That alone is enough ground for people to shout ‘too good to be true’. Additionally, their customer rebate program sounds just like a Ponzi scheme, since it basically takes only 10% of membership fees to rebate current members. In short, people who joined later are paying people who joined earlier. In order for a ponzi scheme to sustain, the amount of members need to grow at an exponential speed month after month. That alone is enough reason to drive rational investors away.
However, I recently decided to get a slot in Sunshine Empire and paid for the membership fees and GP fees of $11,800 just today.
Do I think that it’s a wise investment to make?
Not a chance, Sunshine Empire is not even recognised by MAS as an investment vehicle in the first place.
Would I refer anyone to put their money in Sunshine Empire?
Fat hope, why would I refer anybody to something that I do not think is a wise investment.
Why did I put my money in Sunshine Empire then?
- The desire to grow my money made me blind.
- While their customer rebate program sounds like a Ponzi scheme, their customer loyalty program does make a bit of sense. If you don’t know what these are, don’t bother to find out, since I do not recommend anyone to put their money in.
- This amount of money is what I made in investments for the year and I can afford to lose them.
Basically, the last point is the most important point. Never put your money in these type of schemes if you cannot afford to lose them. I sincerely feel that this whole thing is very risky, but I’m willing to take the risks. I don’t know about you, but my advice to anyone would be… stay away unless you are prepared to part with your money forever.

Dun worry!CAD can not investigate 1 company more then half year but they can extend 1 more month.this april have a big posibility the results will be finalyst.all the things will be settle in these 2 months.our new entertainment company very strength in hong kong now.u can check with ur upline.

first of all i js want to post some comment here.yup.u r right!no need to explain them about SE.Cause whatever i have explain, they also not accept.so js left it and future they will know.last sunday i have gone for fengshui “phang chong hua” event.there have many new powerful update.why dun u js give me ur email address then i will sent to u.i dun want to post here already.cause whatever i post here they also not accept so no meaning i post the new update here.i think u still believe in SE,am i right?but why u want exchange the epoint since i have gave the rate very low.BTW,Mr James Phang will take action since CAD investigate long time already.My leader is 1 of top management in SE.

once CAD makes a conclusion and then more comments will come in. Singaporeans all like that, wait for confirm is right or wrong, good or bad, then will give opinion cos scared of getting sued. Safety in numbers. Pray hard that CAD investigations completed soon so that extent of damage can be assessed.

I just hope that CAD can come up with a conclusion soon. They are taking far too long for my liking. If SE still represents a threat to the general public then all the more they shd hasten their work.
With each passing day, it seems that the credibility of the company becomes worse and so does the possibility of recovering the $$.

Dear Jeff aw, if you really just wish to purchase other merchants’ E-points, there’s no need to reply to non-members’ comments about it. When someone firmly believes something is a scam, given the current environment, no use trying to convince them otherwise. What happens in future will speak for themselves, not speculations or accusations without proof. They are mostly not active MLM distributors, do not understand what is profit sharing, and probably have not tried the system out before so what’s the use of trying to explain SE’s business model at this time?
They have the right to disbelieve and criticise but they may not necessarily be right or wrong. So just let it be and no need to explain to them ok? At most, if you have any news or updates, just post them and ignore everything else. They’re not even related to u.
Anyway, I would like to consider your cashout offer. I have other minor sources of cash but some extra would be helpful. Is your offer still on?
P.S. Jeff, its great that you have a steady mind in what you believe in, I personally feel that SE made a few mistakes to end up at this stage today, but they are not critical, and as long as upper mgt’s conscience is clear, things will be well again. And that is the best way to silence the critics, not trying to explain Sunshine Empire A-Z to everyone over and over again. Cheers!

RM2 per 1EP ? You are now taking advantage of SE merchant because you know most of the SE merchant is out of cash .
The question is why your people still have so much cash on hand ? Because you people had withdraw tonnes of EP before this and causing the current bonus EP so low .

forget about SE, is it a good time to pick up shares like Chartered Semiconductor which is trading at 72 cents now, a far cry from the over $20 it was trading years ago? Back then even their internal staff bought at preferential price of $11!

I am really interested in how SE is able to give people close to 300% customer rebate as they promised in Singapore if they purchased a GP package. If EVERYONE get 300% interest, won’t the company go bankrupt? How does it even substain? Is the company making that much money?
To be honest, do you know how much the company has to made every year in profit to give everyone who has a GP close to 300% customer rebate money back?
I do agree with you that every business come with a certain risk but SE boast really insane returns. Please think twice before rebutting people as i cant see how SE is able to substain its business model.

SE not investment company.SE only MLM company.from start,SE not promise to give u rebate how much everymonth, but they promise to give u limit money they have fix depend on what prime u buy.when SE earn money only give u CRP.many ppl think SE is investment company.that is not truth.They are selling product package and not selling investment plan.CRP only extra to give customers.

depend on what pin u have buy.u bought MY pin or EM pin?My pin based on malaysia sales,malaysia sales drop so much then My pin rebate also drop so much.if no sales then how to give u high rebate(logical think).if u buy EM-pin then that is based on international sales.last month my customers get RM2356 for 1GP rebate. the sales drop cos of many issue.1 of the problem is ppl not confidence in sunshine empire already.secondly cos of ppc need 60days to process.3.for singapore company still in investigate.when these problem settle then sunshine empire sales will increase as normal.actually, u ask me “who responsible for the dropping of sales?” i only can answer “urself, ur upline and company also, i think company trying to solve problem.if u still trust then wait the good news come liao”.Finally, dun alway disappointed,if 1 day sunshine empire really “death”, nvm when we have still alive then we also have chance to earn money.

nice to chat with u.i only use RM2800 to buy 1 sm to start this business but i have a lot of customers buy SP and GP.but they can get their rebate cos of my upline….all the epoint from customers he help me to cash out and he already reserve 2 months money to help our customers cash out before the ppc card ready to use.

Nice to discuss with u here.i have go through what u have posted.i have appreciated ur comment and i have accepted what u have commented but i still believe sunshine empire is good MLM Company,that is the rules of MLM company even the reality business also same.Forexample, if 1 company no sales and how to pay to their worker, i mean that for 1 company sales must be faster than the paid out if not, the company no longer in the market.did u heard about 8020 theory?in anywhere the world, 20% ppl control 80% of ppl money.i agree that not only in sunshine empire can earn money.actually, human use their brain to earn money so more ppl seldom invest to their own brain.i mean they seldom read books.sunshine empire may be in risky status now but every coporate must face a lot of problem before the company success.i still believe on their project.sorry for my lowsy language.hope u can understand!thanks
