World Internet Summit - Photos

Blogged By: Low Hang Wei @ May 30th, 2007 - 1:11 am

Here are some photos I snapped at World Internet Summit. I managed to get another copy of the photograph I took with Mark Joyner, which has much better quality. I got this photograph from Alvin Phang, who runs a blog, GatherSuccess. He’s doing quite a bit of interesting things at the moment and his blog has quite a lot of quality content. I did saw him quite a few times at the Summit, but I kept on forgetting to take a photo with him when I saw him. However, I did talk to a few other people I have never knew before the Seminar and even took photographs with them. I won’t post these photos, just in case they do not want their photos to be posted on a blog.

Anyway, I feel that I have began to change bit by bit. In the first day of seminar, I chatted with some people, but these people were the ones that approached me. I wasn’t proactive in talking to people and was extremely shy. In the last day of the seminar, I did approach some people and had some pretty nice conversations. Regardless of age, gender and background, it seems to me now that even people who have never knew each other can connect to a certain degree. I got out of my comfort zone a few times and I can’t even begin to imagine what’s my new comfort zone. I may start to become comfortable with everything at any situation, willing to try new things and such. I’m sure it’s a good start.

Anyway, let’s enjoy the photos now. They aren’t very well taken, but enjoy them nevertheless. :)

wow looks like you had a nice time.. some day I will go to one of those big conferences.. do you learn a lot there? or is it just to make friends and stuff?

Although I have read many ebooks and listened to many audio courses on Internet Marketing, I got to admit that there are still small nuggets of information that made it worth my time. However, I think that the most important thing for me was the physical experience and seeing success stories. Without such experiences, I may not be as motivated to pursue Internet Marketing. Anyway, after my blog’s design gets finalized, which is sometime soon, I will be working on another website and will post on this blog when it gets launched. Stay tuned :)
