Yet another drinking session

Met up with James & his GF, Jonathan & his GF, Royston and Marcus. There wasn’t a good start to this whole event, since I’m a direction retard and I was pacing up and down, trying damn hard to locate James’s workplace. Regardless, after walking the same path like 3 times, I finally managed to get there and we went for dinner at Lau Pa Sat together.

Royston and Marcus joined in long after we finished our dinner. We went with them for a quick dinner and then proceeded to Fabulous, where James opened a bottle of Chivas. As a start, we Ta’ed a cup each and I proceeded to play guessing games with Royston. Before I realized, I was soon Ta’ing like nobody’s business, which just shows how I suck at guessing games. I asked to relax for a while to wait for the alcoholic effect to kick in, since I’ve been drunk before and will never want to experience it again. We sang 2 songs and I proceeded to play games again after 15 minutes, since I still don’t feel any effect yet.

Again, I kept losing… so I got sian and wanted to play one-on-one with Royston, Jonathan and Marcus. I agreed to play 3 rounds with each of them and play to Ta a whole cup. I played reverse scissors paper stone with Jonathan first, winner drinks, since I thought I always lose. But who knows… I won 2 of 3 rounds and 2 cups down my gullet. Next was with Royston, we play chu-oh-oh-bei and I won 2 rounds, so only needed to down one cup. With Marcus… he totally trashed me… I drank all 3 cups. The last cup was a killer… they were saying that there’s no alcohol in the coke, so Royston proceeded to pour Chivas down the coke like he thinks I wanted to drink pure Chivas. I played other games also, but they are not as significant as this Ta’ing spree, since all the games played with the 3 of them was settled in 5 minutes and downed like siao.

The other significant drink was the graveyard… it’s not normal. The concentration seems so different and it’s extremely potent. Everyone else took a sip and refused to touch it anymore, although Jonathan’s GF and me drank a quarter each. As if the graveyard isn’t insane enough, don’t know who the hell proceeded to add more alcohol into it and the drink instantly transformed into a whole new level. That cup deserves another name for its madness: Instant Burial.

I think I’m quite a good drinker, which I don’t know if it’s a good thing. It’s good in the sense that I don’t get drunk, but bad in the sense that the alcohol I’m drinking might be causing health concerns without me realizing it. Regardless, I don’t drink that much all that often, so I guess it’s fine. Only this group of friends can make me drink that much and still totally enjoy myself. At the peak of the alcoholic effect that’s affecting me, I can say I’m 90% there, but it’s lucky that I know how to exercise control. I still want to get home totally awake.

Today, I’ll be going for the movie by Andy Lau and after that, I’ll have nothing to hold me back from charging towards my goal anymore. I have enjoyed myself thoroughly and it’s time for me to work on my plans. Regarding the ‘not napping’ promise, I broke it once… so I’ll be donating ten dollars to charity. I’m glad that I only broke it once in the month and now I’m pretty sure I can continue to maintain this better sleeping habit. Until then… wait for my next post, it won’t be a post about my personal life anymore, but rather a post detailing my efforts towards millionairehood. I can do it!
