Your Views on Relationships

All I will do is post a simple question and I hope to receive comments to build onto it. I don’t really want to write that much today and would just like to do some reading, so here’s my question:
If you are in relationship, what are your greatest joys and fears?
If you are not in a relationship, what is stopping you from going into one?

greatest joy is having a constant partner who is also your best friend. greatest fear is that…not much fear for now but the fear that one day my partner will eventually have to leave this world.

Not in a relationship.
Studies and work.
Basically the time needed to make a relationship work. That and finding the ‘right’ girl, and having the resources (possibly money) to make the relationship work and last…
Maybe I’m just being too idealistic. ; p

My greatest joy in my relationship is having a best friend contractually obliged to remain my best friend. Is that depressing?
